Pilsner light barley malt
description
Pilsner light barley malt is made from two-row spring brewing barley. The steeping and germination conditions are selected to ensure even sprouting and consistent product quality. The maximum kilning temperature is usually 80–85°C.
The taste of Pilsner malt is typically described as malty, slightly nutty, and sweet. This is an excellent raw material for any malt beer, but it has enough activity and character to be used as a base malt for most beer styles.
